Johnson & Johnson Accepts Contact Lens Research ProposalsJohnson and Johnson Vision Care has announced it is looking for research proposals associated with the subject of meibography and tear film stability with contact lens use.

More specifically, the manufacturer of Acuvue 1-Day Trueye daily disposable contact lenses as well as numerous other contacts and lens care products is interested in proposals on one of the following subjects:

  • correlating symptoms and physiology determined during clinical evaluation with tear film stability and the image analysis of the meibomian gland;
  • analysing the impact of different types of contact lenses and the length of contact lens wear on the extent of changes to the meibomian gland.

Researchers, a press release issued by the company informs, must submit their proposals via the Johnson and Johnson Vision Care Investigator Initiated Study application process and send an email to the Clinical Research Administrator or call a number provided in the release. The proposals have to be prepared and submitted in English, the press release adds.
