Optyk Rozmus Terms & Conditions
As a Polish company we are NOT required to verify your contact lens prescription. This is according to the British Contact Lens Association. They state that "Sales outside the UK cannot be regulated under this [UK] legislation and this includes internet sales that take place outside the UK".
As a contact lens customer we trust that you are a responsible adult and that you know your contact lens prescription.
This of course, you can check either by looking at your last box of contact lenses and reading the label on the side of the box (remember the power may differ for each eye so check carefully) or by consulting you opticians last test notes / prescription.
However if you would like us to verify your prescription for you, we can do this quickly and at no cost to you. Simply email an image of your opticians last test notes / prescription or even a photo of the labels on the side of your last contact lens boxes after placing your order. Please remember to include your order number in the subject of the email and send it to email@example.com.
Your opticians test notes / prescription includes all the information we need to safely fulfil your order including power, BC, Diameter and other parameters, like axis, cyl power and the name of your dispensing optician. Customers that do not know their prescription are asked to visit a local optician for a contact lens fitting BEFORE ordering from us. Wearing badly fitted contact lenses can result in blurry vision or even eye injury. Your eyes are important - take care of them!
Making a purchase
Please, consider your purchase carefully as returns of opened contact lenses will not be accepted unless the lenses have a manufacturing fault (which is extremely rare) or we have mistakenly sent you a product that you have not ordered (wrong colour or prescription). Contact lenses are sterile medical products that, once opened, are no longer sterile and cannot be returned to the store or manufacturer.
You have the right to return any unopened, undamaged (as new) product purchased from us within 14 days from receiving it without giving us a reason. The cost of shipping the returned items is covered by you, the customer. To obtain a returns number read more about our returns policy here.
Optyk Rozmus aims to make your shopping experience as easy as possible. To place an order, select the item you wish to purchase in the size and options of your choice by clicking on the corresponding box to add the item into the shopping cart. Should you have any sizing or prescription queries, please contact us directly and we will be happy to help.
All orders placed with Optyk Rozmus are paid for transactions. We use Transferuj.pl to process all transactions. Either a credit card or debit card account is required to make a purchase. Your order is processed after payment is completed and registered in our system. We do not provide a cash on delivery service.
The overall purchase price consists of the cost of the items in your basket, the shipping cost and a payment processing fee. The payment processing fee varies depending on the total purchase price and is displayed at the end of the check out. It is labeled 'Payment Processing' and is a small percentage of the purchase price.
Orders placed with our online opticians shop are an offer to purchase and are subject to acceptance by Optyk Rozmus. We always try to ensure availability of our products, but sometimes stock can sell out quickly. In the rare event this occurs, we will contact you to advise on when products can be delivered or suggest an alternative purchase or full refund if there is a delay for delivery. The customer is responsible for the information provided to us on prescription, address, personal details, delivery address and method of payment and that said details are true and accurate. Any changes to such details must be sent immediately to our Customer Service team on CS@OptykRozmus.com. Acceptance of such changes are subject to written (email) receipt from Optyk Rozmus.
Credit Card and Payment Security
All online transactions are encrypted, to ensure your purchases and card details are private and protected as they travel to us via the internet. We accept orders only from web browsers by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, which means you cannot inadvertently place an order through an unsecured connection. Optyk Rozmus will treat customers' personal information with respect and in accordance with data protection legislation. In submitting data the customer undertakes that Optyk Rozmus may: contact you by telephone, email or mail about your order. Contact you by mail or email from time to time if you have agreed to join our mailing list. Verify your delivery address details where a card holder address is different from a shipping address. We do our best to keep our prices updated but prices are confirmed during order processing. In case of a price difference resulting from a typing mistake, our Customer Service will contact you immediately. All prices include VAT.
Contact lens colours can vary depending on your eye colour, so bare in mind that they might look different on you compared to the images presented on our website. Sometimes a little trial and error is required to find the right look for you. Unfortunately Optyk Rozmus can not accept returns of opened boxes of lenses based on the wrong colour choice.
We treat all cases of faulty items very seriously because of the medical nature of the products involved. We therefore ask you to cooperate fully with the return of any products that are deemed faulty. Any product with a manufacturing fault must be sent back to us for evaluation and forwarding to the manufacturer before we are able to issue a refund or send a replacement. Customers are obliged to send the faulty product within 365 days from its purchase with the assumption that the fault existed at the moment of purchase and is not a result of improper use or care. Please note, the faulty items' expiry date must be at least 2 years from the purchase date. We do not guarantee a refund after this period is exceeded and in situations when either our lab staff or the manufacturer is unable to find the fault or deems the fault to have been caused by improper use. Products that are not considered faulty will be sent back to the customer at their own cost. Optyk Rozmus' liability is limited to the value of the purchased product.
Cost of Returns
Shipping costs of returned items are covered by the customer unless they are caused by a mistake on our part in which case the cost of return will be refunded by us at standard postal rates.
