Daily contact lenses solve almost all problems associated with wearing contact lenses. They do not require as much care as weekly or monthly contact lenses, their users do not have to buy cleaning solutions, and do not worry about deposit build-up over time or lens replacement schedules. Daily disposable contact lenses are particularly useful for people leading active lives, for those who suffer from allergies and for those who use contact lenses occasionally or for special purposes.

DAILIES contact lenses tackle the issue of maintaining appropriate moisture levels, making use of the unique DAILIES® technology, which releases a special moisturiser from the inside of the lens when the person who is wearing them blinks. This is effective up to 20 hours and results in superior comfort throughout the day that will be especially appreciated by contact lens wearers who frequently travel or are very active physically.

The water content of Focus DAILIES contact lenses is 69%; they are made of nelfilcon A, which incorporates Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA), an ocular lubricant commonly used in comfort eye drops. They are available in a wide range of powers (from +0.50 D to +6.00 D [0.25 D steps], from -0.50 D to -6.00 D [0.25 D steps], from -6.50 D to -10.00 D [0.50 D steps]). Their surface is non-ionic, which means less protein build-up than in other soft contact lenses and improved comfort. The lenses are manufactured with the use of the Lightstream™ Technology process, which guarantees high quality, excellent optics. In addition, the technology allows for an extremely thin lens edge, which makes it easier to insert the lens and enhances the comfort of wearing them even more.

Focus DAILIES Toric contact lenses are designed for astigmatic contact lens wearers. They are produced using the same technology as spherical Focus® DAILIES®, so those who suffer from astigmatism can enjoy the same level of comfort as other contact lens users. They are offered in the following powers: PLANO to +4.00 D in 0.25 D steps; -0.25 D to -6.00 D in 0.25 D steps; -6.50 D to -8.00 D in 0.50 D steps; CYL (DC) -0.75 D and -1.50 D. The available axes are 20°, 70, 90°, 110°, 160° and 180°. The lenses have a double thin zone (regardless of the power of the lens) and back surface toric design, which – in connection with the fact that the total diameter of the lens is 14.20 mm – markedly improves lens stability.

Cast moulded with the Lightstream Technology process, Focus DAILIES Progressives will satisfy all those who need different corrections for near and distant vision. As the eye ages, its power of accommodation decreases, which is known as presbyopia. Traditionally, eye practitioners treated presbyopia in myopic patients by prescribing bifocal glasses or two pairs of glasses, one pair for reading and one for distance. However, both of these methods have serious disadvantages. While bifocal glasses may cause headaches and require a change in the position of the head if a person wants, for instance, start using the reading part of the glasses, which leads to muscle fatigue or strains, using two pairs of glasses is simply inconvenient and even impossible at times. Focus DAILIES Progressives are an answer to all these problems. The transitions between optic zones in these lenses are smooth, allowing their users to see clearly at all distances. They are comfortable, easy to insert and need no care, as a fresh pair is ready for use every morning. The centre of the lens is near aspheric; they have a double front surface and tri-curve back surfaces. The available powers are: +5.00D to -6.00D (0.25D steps), incorporating a single progressive addition with an effective range of up to +3.00 D.
