Lindsay Lohan Wears Coloured Contact Lenses in her New Film

In her latest film, Lindsay Lohan wears violet coloured contact lenses to play one of the most famous actresses in the history of cinema, Dame Elizabeth Taylor.

The actress, known for her roles in Mean Girls and Machete, had to undergo a dramatic transformation to play Taylor, which included changing her eye colour with the use of coloured contact lenses. In addition, Lohan needed to dye her hair dark to resemble the late film icon.

Another important aspect of Lohan’s part in the film was her costumes. Here the producers of Liz & Dick spared no expenses, and the actress appears in as many as 66 different outfits in the 80-minute picture.

Liz & Dick, as the title suggests, focuses on the stormy relationship between Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton (played by Grant Bowler). The couple were married two times (1964-1974 and 1975-1976) and their relationship was widely covered by the press.

The film is scheduled to be released in November 2012.
