Bausch + Lomb has launched the Vision Experts Facebook page, which contains the latest news and information about the recent events regarding the optometry industry. The company stated that the page is different from all the other websites and Internet forums, because it will provide comments from Bausch + Lomb experts and will serve as a means of stimulating discussion among the members of the optometry community concerning all the major events in the industry.
The topics that the new page will cover include contact lenses, lens care solutions, glasses, visual disorders as well as surgical procedures used to treat certain eye diseases.
The Vision Experts Facebook page will contain the opinions of such Bausch + Lomb experts as Dr Joseph T. Barr (who is the company’s Vice President of Global Clinical & Medical Affairs and Professional Services, Vision Care), Dr Carla J. Mack (Director, Global Medical Affairs, Vision Care), Dr Mohinder M. Merchea (Director, Medical Affairs, Vision Care North America) and others.
Bausch + Lomb manufacturers a wide variety of contact lenses, lens care solutions and other products related to contact lens wear.
