Market analysts believe that producers of contact lenses and related products (cleaning solutions, eye drops, contact lens cases, etc.) will continue to bring their shareholders considerable profits and the prices of their shares on the stock exchange will rise further.
A group of experts from Robert W. Baird & Co stated that the shares of large suppliers of healthcare products (including contact lenses) will be very popular among investors, and therefore their value will increase, placing them among the most profitable companies present on the stock market.
The analysts believe that companies involved in manufacturing healthcare technologies and selling medical as well as dental products will bring more profit than other companies from the sector. In addition, the experts insist, the healthcare reforms that the US government has recently introduced have had a negative impact on the stability of the market, but the situation will improve very soon.
According to marketing data collected by the Association of Contact Lens Manufacturers, the British contact lens market has been growing steadily and is currently worth approximately £220 million.
