Expert Gives Advice on Coloured Contact Lenses and Vision Correction

The popularity of coloured contact lenses keeps rising, as they become more attractive and their designs more sophisticated. However, many people, especially those who do not normally wear any vision correction, are not sure whether contact lenses are good for them.
Jamie Winters, in his latest article, deals with the issue in detail. In his opinion, there is no reason why a person without a refractive error should not wear contact lenses. The only condition is that the lenses are fitted by a professional optometrist or a doctor, since contact lenses bought (usually online) without a prescription can be very dangerous a person’s eyesight. In addition, Winters urges all contact lens wearers to follow instructions regarding cleaning and maintaining lenses.
Writing about the designs of coloured contact lenses, the expert stated that the first coloured contacts were quite boring, but now manufacturers offer so many different options that everybody can find something interesting. This includes contact lenses giving their owners an unnatural appearance, allowing them to look like vampires or zombies.
