Famous for her experiments with her style, Jersey Shore star Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi has started wearing blue coloured contact lenses.
Polizzi showed her new look, leaving a beauty salon in New York just before her appearance on Good Morning America. Her natural eye colour is brown, but she decided to create a new look for herself.
The new season of Jersey Shore started several days ago and achieved record ratings (approximately 8.8 million American homes watched it). The show is about the lives of 8 housemates who spend their summer at the Jersey Shore. It premiered in December 2009 and soon became MTV’s most popular series.
Polizzi’s eccentric behaviour on the reality show is very controversial, but that seems to increase her popularity (she was the most popular celebrity Halloween costume of 2010). She first appeared on Jersey Shore in 2009 and was identified as “the breakout member of the cast” by The New York Times.
