Bausch + Lomb, a global manufacturer of contact lenses and has revealed its new range of products. The company states that the range will positively influence the eye care market.
The presentation of the latest products took place during an annual meeting of the American Optometric Association in Salt Lake City and included PureVision 2 HD contact lenses with high definition optics. The manufacturer suggests that they are especially good for drivers (as they provide excellent, clear vision in low light conditions, reducing glare and halos) and for those who spend a lot of time in front of a computer screen (their high oxygen transmissibility results in reduction in such negative symptoms as red eye and irritation). Moreover, they are among the thinnest contact lenses currently available on the market.
Apart from PureVision 2 HD lenses, the company also presented Alaway eye drops, which quickly alleviate the symptoms of allergy and Retisert, a drug implant used to treat non-infectious uveitis.
