It turns out that cosmetic and coloured contact lenses could be more than just a fashion accessory, part of a Halloween costume or a film prop. They can also positively change the lives of many patients suffering from severe eye conditions or whose eyes are damaged due to accidents. A facility located in Arizona, USA, has helped numerous patients to achieve that.
The owner of Crystal Reflections, a company manufacturing special coloured contact lenses, Jack Carter, stated that the products offered by the company are bought not only to give their wearers an unnatural look, but also to achieve precisely the opposite – to make them look normal, covering all the imperfections that are a source of distress.
Carter invoked the story of a teenager who ordered natural-looking contact lenses produced by Crystal Reflections. As a result, his everyday life changed completely, which was confirmed by a letter written by his father. The letter stated that the boy had gained confidence, was much more cheerful and his grades had improved.
