Free Contact Lenses Offered to Indian Patients

Responding to the difficult situation of some patients with eye problems in India, the Rahmani Foundation Healthcare Department has decided to organise another special event, during which patients will be examined and given free eye care products.

The event will be held in the form of an eye camp located in Munger and the foundation is planning to start it on 12th February and end the following day, after providing up to 1000 people with eye tests and fitting them with contact lenses and medicines. In addition, all participants of the camp will be given food and accommodation so that nobody is prevented from attending the camp irrespective of their financial situation.

During the camp, eye examinations will be carried out by Dr Abid Akhtar and Dr Mohan Lal Singh.

The camp will be the 23rd such event organised by Rahmani Foundation. The first one took place in 1996. Apart from organising eye camps, the Healthcare Department of Rahmani Foundation has also been regularly providing different medical facilities for patients in need.
