Every contact lens wearer (except for those who use daily contact lenses) needs a contact lens case. However, most of the cases provided by lens manufacturers are not very attractive and therefore many contact lens users look for products offered by independent companies, such as Miottica.
The Korean manufacturer, which has been present on the market for over 5 years, has just announced the introduction of a new line of products – Mio-friends, which should soon be available worldwide.
Choi Dae Sung, the company’s managing director, states that the new cases are designed for people who have uninspiring contact lens cases. The new line uses several characters, named Frogi, Catti, Dogi and Monkee, representing a frog, a cat, a dog and a monkey. According to the managing director, Miottica is planning to extend the line by adding three more characters in the first half of 2011.
The new products should be especially appealing to children, but the company hopes that the bright colours and cheerful designs will be attractive to some adults as well.
