Although the Detroit Lions, an American National Football League team, have had an unlucky start this season, experts predict that they will make it to the play-offs. One of the players who decide how well they play is Kyle Vanden Bosch, who joined the team in March.
The first thing that anyone notices when they meet Bosch in person is his eyes. Or rather his red coloured contact lenses. They make him look like a demon, he admits, but he does not wear them as a fashion item. While playing such a quick and violent game as American football, it is extremely important to see really well. The lenses, apart from giving the player clear vision, also block the sunlight, and help Bosch maintain his top performance in every situation.
Kyle Vanden Bosch started his professional career in the Arizona Cardinals. Then he moved to the Tennessee Titans, where he spent five years before signing a $26 million deal with the Detroit Lions.
