The acclaimed actress Marcia Gay Harden has become involved in a campaign organised by Bausch & Lomb one of the leading manufacturers of contact lenses. The campaign aims at encouraging parents and kids to make vision care a priority.
Harden knows the problems that the parents of children who wear contact lenses face every day quite well. As she explains, her daughter has replaced glasses with SofLens® daily disposable contact lenses produced by Bausch & Lomb. In her opinion, they are more convenient and comfortable, which is especially important because Eulala intends to follow in her mothers’ footsteps.
The campaign also includes a contest, in which parents are asked to submit a story of up to 200 words. The winners will receive $5,000 and will be able to attend the American Music Awards® in Los Angeles, on 21 November.
Marcia Gay Harden has starred in over sixty films and has received numerous awards. In 2001, she won an Oscar for her supporting role in Pollock, directed by Ed Harris.
