Courtney Love, 46, has recently surprised her friends wearing blue coloured contact lenses. The singer and actress attended a party in Soho. She is reported to have been using daily contact lenses for many years.
Lately, Courtney Love has reunited with her band, Hole, and released a new album, entitled Nobody’s Daughter. The first single was received warmly, and chances are that the entire record, the band’s first one in twelve years, will be a hit. Love is currently promoting Nobody’s Daughter, which includes live performances on The David Letterman Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
The singer became famous when she got married to Kurt Cobain, the lead singer of the cult band Nirvana. Their marriage ended in tragedy, as Cobain committed suicide in 1994. However, Love continued her career, both as a singer and as an actress. She appeared in more than ten films, most notably in The People vs. Larry Flynt (1996) for which she received a Golden Globe nomination. In 2004, she released her only solo album, America’s Sweetheart, whose disappointing sales led her to consider the comeback of Hole.
